Studying a single or individual course is a good way to upskill and learn more about a particular topic, particularly if you've been working for a few years.
When you successfully complete your chosen course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Proficiency, and your results are recorded on your academic transcript. If you decide to study further, the course could also be cross-credit towards a qualification later on.
Technically you could study any course in a programme – but you do need to meet the entry requirements. Some courses have prerequisites; other courses you need to have studied before that give you the foundational knowledge for this course.
