Start your journey towards creating positive experiences for customers and employees in hospitality organisations by studying hospitality enterprise.
You take two core courses that give you a fundamental understanding of applied food and beverage management, and international hospitality management. You’re also introduced to human resource management in hospitality, human and organisational behaviour, and social enterprise and innovation in hospitality.
In your second semester, you also take the first two courses from your second major, minor(s) or elective courses.
This year you explore critical and ethical perspectives of hospitality and its role in society, service design and how to create an excellent guest experience.
You also continue to take courses from your second major, minor(s) or elective courses.
You further your knowledge of people management in hospitality and tourism, leadership principles and innovation in hospitality.
You also take the final courses from your second major, minor(s) or elective courses.
In your final semester, you complete valuable workplace experience with an organisation (this is the Hospitality and Tourism Work Integrated Learning course). It's a great opportunity to develop industry networks and make a decision on your professional career after graduation.
