The Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration provides an entry point for students who don’t want to enrol in a full Master of Business Administration (MBA) or who need added flexibility. All applicants need at least three years of relevant work experience. You're encouraged to continue into the MBA after completing this postgraduate diploma.

Applicants who do not have a tertiary qualification are expected to provide evidence of relevant professional experience deemed, by the Assessment Board, to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree. This would typically be 10 years work experience of which 3-4 is in a supervisory or management capacity. Candidates may also be required to complete an aptitude test and/or attend an interview.

To graduate with a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration you must successfully complete 120 points of Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses (excluding BUSS991 and BUSS992).
Each course involves eight weeks of class learning, with one three-hour class per week followed by an examination week. You can start at any one of four entry points in the year.

You can progress to the MBA by applying to the MBA Director and completing a further 60 points.
You need a B- grade average in the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration to be considered for the MBA.
