An interdisciplinary approach, including geography, anthropology and history will be used to investigate the relationships between culture and beverages. Toitū (sustainability), kaitiakitanga (guardianship), production and commerce will be considered within both the Global and New Zealand contexts. How global beverages have evolved over time will be a core component of the course.
