Develops a critical reflective approach to Maori health research practice, including a range of critical, indigenous and kaupapa Maori research methodologies. Understands the role of Maori leadership structures in communities, and their role and the role of whanau, hapu, iwi and Maori communities in research. Develops an understanding of the relationship between research, policy and practice development.
