Study Abroad student from France
She would recommend studying at AUT to other international students, says Julie Hanot who came to New Zealand as a Study Abroad student from France.
“I highly recommend studying at AUT for many reasons. Firstly, Auckland City is a beautiful place to live, and the people in New Zealand are friendly and welcoming.
“As an AUT student, I appreciated that the City Campus is located right in the heart of Auckland, giving you access to a wide range of activities and experiences while you’re studying in New Zealand.”
An interesting choice of courses
Julie – who came to AUT from France’s Institut National Polytechnique De Toulouse – says she has been enjoying the courses she enrolled in for her Study Abroad semester.
“While I’m studying at AUT, I’m taking courses on environmental sciences, ecology concepts, biogeography, and oceanography and socio ecology. The courses have all been very interesting, and the lecturers at AUT are both professional and approachable.”
The support she has received for her assignments is another thing she has enjoyed about her studies at AUT.
“While the assignments can be challenging, we receive support and guidance throughout the process.”
Supported to thrive
She has felt supported throughout her time studying at AUT, Julie says.
“The AUT International team and lecturers at AUT have been very helpful from the start, which made it easy for me to settle in.”
There is only one thing she wishes she could change.
“The only downside to my semester? It’s coming to an end.”
