Microsoft 365 is your cloud hub for Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive for Business, that AUT students can access for free. Students can use the apps on the cloud or download them onto their personal devices.
You'll need an internet connection to access your Microsoft 365 applications while you're studying at AUT. Because they're cloud-based, you can access and use the applications from any location (you don't have to use an AUT computer).
You can download the whole Office 365 suite for free from Microsoft 365 onto your personal devices. You can do this from home and install it on up to five different devices.
You can access Microsoft 365 here.
On the login page, use your AUT student email address, in the following format: networklogin@autuni.ac.nz (eg abc1234@autuni.ac.nz). Then use your AUT network login and password to log into Microsoft 365 and/or Teams.
Make the most of these apps and learn how to use Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for writing, presenting and spreadsheets with these LinkedIn learning videos.
Microsoft Teams is a digital hub that brings your conversations, content, documents and apps together in one place. You can connect with your classmates and share information.
Our GenAI at AUT page is a useful starting point for students interested in using GenAI tools responsibly to support their assessment work.
