Printing and copying

Find out how to use printers and photocopiers for your AUT assessments and where to find them on AUT's campuses.

Where to find printers and photocopiers at AUT

Printers and photocopiers are located at various locations on each AUT campus:

How to log in to print and copy

You'll need to self-register your own RFID capable card at the printer and use the same card for logging in each time – this is a one-time process. You can also manually log in with your network login and password using the touchscreen on the devices.

RFID cards are any cards that have ‘Tap and Go’ capability, such as AT HOP cards or most EFTPOS cards with payWave. Using your AT HOP or bank card to release prints will not take any funds from your AT HOP or bank account and no sensitive information will be stored, the print system only uses the card chip to identify you for secure release. Printer balances will still be managed by the AUT App and My AUT.

Costs for printing and copying

For A4 and A3 paper size:

  • Black and white: 5 cents per page
  • Colour: 25 cents per page
