Enrolling at the Student Medical Centre

As an AUT student, you can enrol at the AUT Student Medical Centre at any time; you don't need to wait until you're sick. Simply scroll down to the enrolment form link below to begin the process.

Completing the enrolment form

By completing and signing the enrolment form, you're choosing the Student Medical Centre to be your primary healthcare provider or GP (doctor).

This means that while you're studying at AUT:

  • You can contact us when you're unwell or need medical advice or support
  • We will contact you when you have specific health screens or immunisations due
  • You will have access to additional support free of charge

After enrolling online, you will receive a form and a health questionnaire to fill by email.

It’s important to know that on the enrolment form, we will ask your permission to request a copy of your records from your last GP. If you say yes to this, you need to sign the section “Transfer of records” and we will arrange this directly with the practice. It’s also okay to say no however, without a confirmed history of past medication or diagnosis, your requests may take longer to process.
