Bright Side’s self-leadership sessions are a series of 60-minute workshops where our coaches will facilitate discussions and practical activities that will allow you to explore self-leadership topics in a safe environment.
These workshops are free and open to all AUT students. If you’re completing the AUT Edge Award, these sessions will count towards your leadership hours.
We’re offering four self-leadership topics for the remainder of 2024 with more new topics to be made available in 2025. Sessions will be capped at 8 students maximum.
A discussion based-session that explores how procrastination shows up in life, and investigates how underlying emotional dysregulation negatively impacts how we use our time.
An activity-based session that describes the impact of the nervous system on physical wellbeing, and outlines how we can take positive steps to look after our bodies.
An awareness session that uncovers how stress turns up in our lives, and describes how our inner critic can be addressed and overcome.
A self-awareness session that explores which values are important to us, and how that might shape our outlook on our future endeavours.
