  • Fall term – apply by the 1 December AUT deadline

Credit equivalence

4 AUs at Nanyang = 15 AUT points

Full semester workload = 16 AUs = 60 AUT points

Exchange students are expected to take 3-5 courses for a total of 16 Academic Units (AUs) and this would be equivalent to 60 AUT Points. Courses are typically 3-4 academic units each.

Language

All courses, except language courses, are conducted in English.

Specific subject requirements/restrictions

Exchange students are asked to select 10 courses for their application and are not allowed to apply for restricted courses and programmes. There is a full list of restricted courses in the programme brochure, which is linked in Extra Resources.

Securing placement for highly popular courses can be challenging, so flexibility in your course selection is recommended.

Course offerings are published in May and November for Nanyang’s Semester 1 and 2, respectively. The previous year’s courses can be used as a reference when researching options.
