Tickets and seating for graduation

Find out how you get guest tickets for your AUT graduation ceremony and where your guests can sit when you’re graduating.

Getting tickets for your graduation ceremony

  • You (the graduand) don’t need a ticket for yourself
  • Each of your guests will require their own ticket for admission
  • Tickets are free
  • If you're graduating in person, we can guarantee you a set number of tickets, which will be confirmed closer to graduation
  • You'll receive an email with instructions on how to redeem your guest tickets via Ticketmaster. You'll need a Ticketmaster account to be able to redeem your tickets. You can create an account ahead of time if you don’t have one already.
  • Depending on the number of tickets claimed, the number of graduands and the capacity of the venue, we may be able to release extra guest tickets. If extra tickets are available, we'll email you about how to request them
  • Spark Arena visitor information can be found here, and accessibility information can be found here.

Seating

  • Graduands sit separately from their guests
  • Your guests should arrive at least 30 minutes before the advised door closing time for the ceremony

Need assistance on the day?

If you need help on graduation day – for example, you can’t walk up the stairs to the stage, or if you need special seating at the ceremony – contact the graduation team well before the day of your graduation.
