Dates and times for graduation

Find out dates and times for upcoming AUT graduation ceremonies. Ceremonies are generally 1½ to 2 hours, but allow up to 3 hours overall from when you arrive to the end of your ceremony.

Summer Graduation: 16 & 17 December 2025, Spark Arena

If you think you may be eligible to graduate, you should have received a graduation application notification by email. Graduation applications close midnight, 14 November 2025.

Business, Economics & Law and Communication Studies*
Arrive by 8.45am. Doors close 9.15am.
Design & Creative Technologies A* (Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences)
Arrive by 12.15pm. Doors close 12.45pm.
Design & Creative Technologies B* (School of Future Environments and Art & Design)
Arrive by 3.45pm. Doors close 4.15pm.

Wednesday 17 December

Health & Environmental Sciences A* (Acute and Primary Health, Allied Health, Nursing)
Arrive by 8.45am. Doors close 9.15am.
Health & Environmental Sciences B* (Community & Public Health, Oral Health, Science, Sport, Exercise & Health)
Arrive by 12.15pm. Doors close 12.45pm.
Culture & Society and Te Ara Poutama
Arrive by 3.45pm. Doors close 4.15pm
