Make the most of your university experience by getting involved in clubs and activities outside the classroom. Our student-run clubs are a great place to meet like-minded friends, develop your skills and build connections with industry leaders.

The AUT Accounting Association’s mission is to enrich the academic and professional experience of accounting students. It is a platform for accounting students to connect with industry experts and enhance their networking skills.

It aims to improve students’ future employment prospects and sustain a friendly, energetic and hardworking community of graduate accountants. The association is constantly exploring new ideas for events and new ways to extend and enrich the experiences of members.

AUTIC aims to get students excited about a career in finance through the practical application of classroom knowledge.

They regularly host a broad range of seminars, networking events, competitions, workshops, academic tutorials and social gatherings. These are aimed at inspiring and preparing members for life after university, resulting in a more financially assured future.

AUT Startup Club exists to elevate the startup and SME ecosystems, both at AUT and across NZ. Through student, faculty and industry collaboration, the club aims to further demystify business-building processes, increase entrepreneurial literacy, strengthen their professional network, and create better career opportunities for its members.

The AUT Marketing Collective is a social space where students who are studying or have an interest in marketing can come together. It’s a great place to apply learned theories while networking with others in the same business field.

Moana Nui is a club for Māori and Pacific students studying business and law to connect and learn together. We offer study and assessment support as well as opportunities for internships and industry engagement.

We regularly host engaging events for students to build meaningful connections – this includes both in-person social networking events and visiting commercial entities, as well as iwi and support networks.
