AUT will celebrate its Winter Graduation with a record number of 38 PhDs being awarded over two days of ceremonies.
This is the highest number of PhDs granted by AUT University to date and an increase from the 20 PhDs awarded at the last graduation in December 2011.
Of the 2500 students graduating, 1500 will participate in the parade at 10:00am from Albert Park, along Queen Street, finishing at Aotea Square where the graduating ceremonies will be held on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 July 2012.
One of those proud students will be New Zealand Tourism and Research Institute’s Senior Research Officer and single mum, Carolyn Deuchar. Carolyn completed her extensive research on small tourism enterprises network formation in rural New Zealand and the integration of information and communication technologies and community in Western Southland.
