Water has been restored to North Campus - the campus remains closed and reopens tomorrow – Update 18:45pm NZT
Water is now back on at AUT’s North Campus and Akoranga Student Village, but the campus remains closed tonight. Classes will resume tomorrow, Wednesday 20 September 2017.

UPDATED: WATER HAS BEEN RESTORED TO AUT’S NORTH CAMPUS AND STUDENT VILLAGE, Tuesday 19 September, 18:45.

Water is now back on at AUT’s North Campus and Akoranga Student Village, but the campus remains closed tonight.

Classes will resume tomorrow, Wednesday 20 September 2017.

Tuesday 19 September, 2017: There has been a burst water main affecting AUT’s North Campus and the Akoranga Student Village. As a result the university has closed the North Campus this afternoon with immediate effect. Students and staff currently on site are advised to leave North Campus.

The Akoranga Student Village isn’t closed. Provisions will be made for students living there. Students living in the Akoranga Student Village can call the duty staff phone – 0800 AUT ASV (0800 288 278) – if they need assistance.

It is expected that the water will be restored in time for classes to commence tomorrow morning. Further information will be provided, if required.
