Introducing AUT Global
AUT has relaunched its Outbound Exchange student exchange programme as AUT Global, providing eligible domestic and international students with the opportunity to spend a semester at one of AUT’s partner universities around the world.
The programme is designed to give students a fully immersive experience in another country, allowing them to not only expand their perspectives and gain a better understanding of different cultures, but also boost their employability.
Associate Director Operations and Partnerships at AUT International, Rhiannon McKenzie-Smit, says that in an increasingly interconnected world, the significance of a global student exchange cannot be overstated.
“By participating in an AUT Global exchange, students acquire real-life international experience which may even start a global career. It adds to their soft skills, their resilience, and their understanding of the wider world that they join when they graduate,” says Rhiannon.
“We have great partnerships with universities around the world that can provide AUT students with the chance to experience a different culture, make new friends, build their networks and boost their employability.”
