Professor Lester Levy is concerned that uncritical perspectives of digital health and digital health disruption have the potential to derail their future benefit and believes that empirical research can effectively reframe these perspectives.
We asked Lester five questions ahead of his Inaugural Professorial Address – he discussed his research on digital health examining leadership vs technology, how he got into his field and his hopes for the industry.
“I've always been interested in finding out why? but also, about when you know why, what can you actually do about it? because having knowledge and not applying it is a real waste,” he said.
