Professor Andrew Lowe hopes that AUT research will support the development of New Zealand’s medical device industry, leading it to play a significant role on the international stage.
We asked Andrew five questions ahead of his Inaugural Professorial Address – he discussed his research on measurement and modelling of the cardiovascular system in order to improve cardiovascular risk management.
“I find my work exciting for three reasons. One, the sense of discovery. Two, the impact that we can make to help people manage their health in future. And three, working with a great team.”
This is a free public lecture, and everyone is welcome. Refreshments will be served afterwards.
Date: Thursday 12 August, 4.30 pm – 5.30 pm
Venue: WA Conference Centre, City Campus
