Professor Alice Theadom says the most surprising thing about her research on mild traumatic brain injuries, is that the ideas come from feedback from the general public.
We asked Alice five questions following her appointment to Professor – she discussed her research on traumatic injury and illness and her motivation to give people a voice.
“People have been struggling with the effects of concussion and mild brain injuries for far too long. Things need to change. And so, I’m really driven by getting people the answers they need, to get the treatment that they need, and so we can actually help people make the decisions they need to make in life.”
