As a young nurse, an interest in how and where older people age led Professor Stephen Neville to start his journey to study gerontology.
We asked Stephen five questions ahead of his Inaugural Professorial Address – he discussed his research on age-friendly communities, how he got into the field of gerontology and his hopes for his area of expertise.
“I would like to have a world where older people are recognised and valued, eliminating ageism is really important to me,” he said.
