Events connect research and practice

Join the AUT Centre for Screen Practice Research for three events in April as part of the Centre’s 2024 Visiting Scholar Plan.

The series, developed by the screen practice research team and coordinated by Associate Professor Arezou Zalipour, explores ‘Practice as Research’ in an expert panel discussion, the use of creative mindsets for leadership in the university sector and the practicalities of screenwriting.

Associate Professor Zalipour says, “Our goal at AUT Centre for Screen Practice Research is to ignite a transformative dialogue that bridges the gap between academic research, practical application and professional practice.

“Central to this endeavour are our students, for whom we strive to create a vibrant educational ecosystem, and ultimately shape a future where creative and critical thinking coalesce to redefine knowledge, success and leadership in our ever-evolving landscape. If any aspect of these events' detailed descriptions resonates with you, we warmly invite you to join us!”
