AUT's Four Seasons Restaurant is going Pink
AUT University is getting behind the colour pink this month and is hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast in Four Seasons Restaurant to support the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation (NZBCF).
The breakfast, on Thursday May 31 at 7.30am, will be a fantastic and charitable way for women start their Thursday and support a cause.
Tickets are just $25, with all proceeds going to the foundation.
Guests will be greeted with Johanneshof bubbles on arrival, followed by bacon, eggs Benedict, fresh fruit platters, freshly baked pastries and coffee and juice.
Kate Payne, who has had Breast Cancer and is Senior Lecturer in Hospitality Management, will MC the mornings’ event and NZBCF ambassador and entertainer Jackie Clarke will speak at the event.
There will also be an opportunity for guests to donate further by purchasing NZBCF collateral on the day.
All of the raw goods have been donated by businesses throughout Auckland that have been more than willing to get behind a worthy cause. These include Co-Pilot Distributors, Johanneshof Cellars, Pokeno Bacon Company, Bidvest Fresh and the AUT School of Hospitality and Tourism.
Four Seasons Restaurant Supervisor Timothy Bowater says this is a fantastic opportunity for AUT staff members, family and friends to support a worthy cause, while enjoying themselves in the process.
Although there is no promise of pink eggs and bacon Benedict the team at Four Seasons are dedicated to making the morning a great one, Mr Bowater says.
The breakfast will start at 7.30am and will be finished by 8.45am in time for the work day to begin.
