AUT launches ‘Afraid to Ask’ podcast
AUT this month becomes the first New Zealand University to launch its own weekly podcast, 'Afraid to Ask'

AUT this month becomes the first New Zealand University to launch its own weekly podcast.

‘Afraid to Ask’ will have AUT experts answering questions the public are embarrassed to ask.

Other universities in New Zealand dabble in podcasting at a school or faculty level, or to air guest lectures. AUT is the first at a University level to have a regular podcast.

Podcasts are at the forefront of changing media consumption and as the University for the Changing World AUT is committed to trying new channels to educate, inform and inspire the public.

‘Afraid to Ask’ will showcase a wide range of experts from across the university and give them the opportunity to explain complicated topics in a fun and relatable way.

The podcast is aimed at a general audience and will be promoted through social media.

You can ask a question or download the podcast on this page: http://www.news.aut.ac.nz/afraid-to-ask
There are currently four podcasts ready do download- discussing the future of handwriting, driverless cars, gay soldiers and easter traditions.
