AUT Council appoints external reviewer
Auckland University of Technology’s Council has appointed Auckland Queen’s Counsel Kate Davenport to lead a review into the university’s policies, systems and practices regarding harassment and bullying.
The review will provide staff, students, and other interested parties the opportunity to confidentially share information about their experiences, concerns, and suggestions of ways in which the university can improve.
The review will report to AUT Council and be overseen by a subcommittee of Crown appointed members of the Council.
Findings and recommendations will be made public, but information collected as part of the review will be confidential.
Information about the Terms of Reference and ways to participate will be made available next week.
