AUT alumnus Haydn Jack says he fell in love with design because it has the power to change the world –and the Bachelor of Design graduate is doing just that. Haydn has, as an individual and as part of teams, taken out six New Zealand Best Design Awards including a gold last year and two runner up titles in the prestigious international Dyson Design awards – and now one of his big goals is coming up with a new management system for type 1 diabetics. Haydn recently spoke to RNZ about his research, success and the importance of sustainability.
