As part of the 'International Studies Webinar Series', Dr Gérald Côté, an ethnomusicologist from Laval University (Quebec/Canada), will cover the historical and contemporary implications of the 'blackface' movement.

This initiative comes from RITUAL (a creative collective of established migrants and locals in Tāmaki Makaurau with the mission to engage diverse communities, provoke social reflections and bring people together through art) as part of their upcoming *Ritual Pop* exhibition, scheduled for 16 November 2024, with the theme 'The Masked Faces of Us'.

This webinar is for anyone interested in global issues.
