The Pacific Research Symposium delved into the future of Pacific research in Aotearoa.
Our theme centred around the Tuvaluan Proverb:
“Ko te motou paea e maua, kae fakaoti fakatahi.”
The catch is shared, and the task is completed together.
Here, we celebrated the vibrant tapestry of Pacific contributions, highlighting the ingenuity of Pacific-led research, the dynamism of interdisciplinary research, and the innovations of postgraduate research.
Attendees could take part in the conversation to rethink research impact, focusing on preserving the heartbeat of Pacific communities – collective knowledge systems, languages and cultures.
