The 2024 Artificial Intelligence & Communication Symposium sought to address the question of the role of AI in professional practice to discern whether AI is a tool, threat or teammate.
Accordingly, the symposium documented the research of Faculty of Design and Creative Technology researchers in a myriad of disciplines including VFX, education, business, health and architecture (to name a few), with a focus on how the insights gleaned in academic research can be applied to industry practices.
