This Matariki artwork pack was commissioned by Pou Māori at AUT as a learning resource for all to celebrate the rising of Matariki. The artworks were created by AUT visual arts students Hope Korewha and Tohu Harris. The colouring-in sheets on this page were created by design student Te Awanui A Rangi Teresa Clark.
Each artwork is accompanied by a scannable QR code containing information about the star cluster.

Our commissioned artists this year, Hope Korewha and Tohu Harris, who are both Ngāpuhi, are third-year Bachelor of Visual Arts students who have worked collaboratively to produce a series of nine works, reflecting Matariki and their communities.
